Studies from different African countries show that the majority of data collected are riddle with errors and distortion of one form or another Sudan being no exception. Therefore the specific objectives of the study are: 1. To evaluate the 2008 Age and Sex data. 2. To identify the trend and pattern of errors in 2008 Age and Sex data. 3. To suggest ways in which Age and Sex data could be improved in subsequent censuses and surveys.
